Yuu Sonoda is one of the lead characters of the Sakura Trick anime and manga.
Yuu is the youngest in the Sonoda family. She acts childish sometimes, but otherwise gets along with the others well. Yuu enjoys physical education a lot —she's not good at any other subject, though.
In the AWA fics, Yuu is a student at the AWA Academy and is part of Class 1.
Appearance
Yuu has bright orange hair. She almost always wears flower hair bands to hold her pigtails. She has emerald-green eyes, and a peach complexion. Like Haruka, she blushes and gets flustered very easily. She also wears the standard uniform: a red tie, a plain white (collared) button-up shirt, blue and green plaid skirt, and the green coat which she usually leaves unbuttoned. To go along with the standard uniform, she wears white knee socks and white sneakers with a red x on the sides.
Personality
Yuu is Haruka's closest friend since middle school, and is the more childish of the two. She has a cheerful and happy-go-lucky attitude, which immediately endears her to everyone around. She is an athletic girl and prefers running around outside than sitting still. Yuu can be demanding and childish, but at times possesses more common sense than Haruka and Mitsuki. She is more conservative than Haruka when it comes to openly showing affection, and usually needs some convincing from Haruka to kiss her. Still, she enjoys the kisses and as the series progresses starts to initiate kisses more often.

Yuu gains the ability to transform herself into a rapier. She is currently training alongside Haruka Takayama.
Trivia
- Yuu alongside Haruka Takayama are the first characters from Sakura Trick to be introduced in the AWA fics.
- Her symbol is her flower hair band. When Mitsuki is around, the band has the kanji, which means younger sister on it to distinguish itself from her sister's.
- She likes green tea flavor matcha, just like her sister.
