Shizune Takatsuki is a character from the Infinite Stratos anime and light novels.

Shizune is an IS Academy 1st year student, classmate of Ichika Orimura, roommate of Houki Shinonono and a close friend of Cecilia Alcott in Class One.

In the XP4 fics, Shizune debuted in the XP4 Heroes Coalition - Infinite Stratos.

In the AWA fics, Shizune is a student at the AWA Academy.

Appearance

Shizune has short blue hair, blue eyes, and a slender body. She usually wears her IS Academy Uniform.

Personality

Not much is known of her personality aside that she is helpful, willing to aid Cecilia to drag Lingyin away from the beach where she faked her drowning. She is the most reliable person in Class One according to Ichika.

Shizune is a lot more upbeat with hidden insecurities. She also a fan of dragons earning her the attention of Jake Long. She also punishes Eustace whenever he scares someone.

Shizune is part of the Heroes Coalitions and is a member of the Hunting Team. She also attends the Vanguard Academy as a student.

XP4 Heroes Coalition - Infinite Stratos

In Chapter 5, Shizune, alongside Kiyoka Aikawa, met up and befriended Jake Long in a hallway in the IS Academy and found herself "violating" Jake.

In Chapter 6, Shizune, alongside Jake Long, are seen in the training arena of the IS Academy where Jake watches her train her IS skills, Jake then encourages her to join the Triple Tag Team IS Tournament. Later, they met up with Ichika Orimura and Rex Salazar where Jake asked Ichika to allow her to join his team to which he accepted. Later, they met up with Belle Lavitz, Honne Nohotoke, Kanzashi Sarashiki and Sayuri Momoka in the maintenance area, and everyone agreed to have her be part of Ichika's team.

In Chapter 7, Shizune, alongside Ichika Orimura and Kanzashi Sarashiki, are seen inside the cargo bay of the IS Academy while Belle Lavitz, Honne Nohotoke, Kaoruko Mayuzumi and Sayuri Momoka are working on their units when Jake long and Rex Salazar greeted them with encouragement. Later, she learned that their opponents are Cecilia Alcott, Houki Shinonono and Lingyin Huang and later in the arena, Ichika's team faced the girls and Ichika revealed his feelings for Kanzashi, much to everyone's shock.

In Chapter 8, Shizune, alongside Ichika Orimura and Kanzashi Sarashiki, are seen facing Cecilia Alcott, Houki Shinonono and Lingyin Huang in the arena of the IS Academy, and they managed to defeat them by depleting their IS power through relentless attacks. She then witnessed the arrivals of the IS Golems alongside Ichika revealing himself to be the White Marauder.

In Chapter 9, Shizune took part in facing the IS Golems and the Emotionless in the arena of the IS Academy.

In Chapter 10, Shizune took part in defeating Autumn, the Emotionless and the IS Droids in the arena of the IS Academy, and later witnessed Autumn disappearing into a portal, much to their shock and confusion.

In Chapter 11, Shizune took part in a party somewhere in the IS Academy where it was announced that the Heroes Coalitions & the IS Academy had form an alliance, much to everyone's joy and delight.

In the Epilogue, Shizune is mentioned to have been introduced by Jake Long to the Dragon Slayers.

XP4 Heroes Coalition - Neo-City Diaries

In Chapter 59, Shizune took part in doing voluntary work in The Shelter.

XP4 Heroes Coalition - Mission Chronicles

In Chapter 15, Shizune, alongside the rest of The Hunting Team, took part in exterminating the Emotionless in an abandoned city. After the mission, everyone decided to get some ice cream in a nearby city, leaving behind Hunter alone in the abandoned city.

Shizune is a Blessed with a Gift called Dragon Slayer Magic. Shizune has the same move sets and attacks as Natsu's except the difference is that the color of her flames are blue.

AWA Fanfics

Shizune pilots an IS called Phoenix Force, an IS fused by an Imperium Core giving it a powerful energy that can destroy anything on it's path.
