Sega Saturn is one of the main characters from the Sega Hard Girls games and anime.
Sega Saturn is the logical one in the trio, she tends to get caught up in Dreamcast and Mega Drive's antics.
In the AWA fics, Sega Saturn is a student at the AWA Academy.
Appearance[]
Sega Saturn is pale-skinned with large eyes; one of which is blue, and one is green. She has long black hair pulled into pigtails held by glowing raspberry-colored hair accessories. Her forelocks cover her ears, while her bangs are split into two sections - one of which sticks up on the end.
She wears a black dress with a thin blue line going down the center of the torso, to the waist where blue glowing designs rest. Near the bottom of her skirt is an oval design split into two colors; one is silver, while the other is grey. On top of her dress is a white sleeve-less jacket lined in pink with six buttons on the left of her chest; three tiny grey, and three slightly bigger, coming in green, yellow, and blue. She has a large black collar with a stylized S on the side, and on each arm is a white loose sleeve lined in pink. On each foot is a loose black boot with a white bottom, a stylized S, and a blue glowing oval at the cuff.
Personality[]
Sega Saturn is a cynical girl who is determined to accomplish great things in life, but in funny situations she can't help but chime in. Appearing confident on the outside, deep inside she's insecure of herself and tries to act tough. When push comes to shove, she also gets rather weak, and when she's praised, she gets embarrassed to the point of anger.
Saturn is quite confident in her looks as well as her ability to succeed. Unfortunately, this combination only ends up backfiring on the poor girl whenever possible and cements her status as the team's butt-monkey.
Abilities[]
Saturn wields two of them. Her Weapons of Choice are the Twin Sticksnote , which are both adorned with the Sega Saturn logo. She uses them to cast a wind spell in the Space Channel 5 lesson and fires projectiles with them in the Chain Chronicle lesson.
Trivia[]
- Sega Saturn appeared as a DLC character in Chain Chronicle V. She also appears in the Kaden Shoujo smartphone RPG game.
- Her proud confidence is based on the fact that the Sega Saturn was Sega's best-selling console in Japan, an attitude that is rather justified when you consider the fierce competition it was also up against in the region.
- Sega Saturn also finds herself attracted to strong and older men, which could be seen as a Shout-Out to Segata Sanshiro.
