Rise Kujikawa is one of the main characters from the Persona 4 anime and games.
A teenage Idol Singer nicknamed "Risette", she suddenly retires from her work and moves to Inaba to help her grandmother's tofu shop, enrolling in Yasogami as a freshman. Despite being genuinely cheerful and bubbly, Rise is frustrated at her fans seeing her as Risette rather than her true self.
Like the other girls, a romantic relationship can be pursued with Rise in the later stages of her Link, but she very clearly has a crush on Yu and will flirt with him numerous times regardless of whether a relationship is actually taken with her.
In the XP4 fics, Rise debuted in the XP4 Heroes Coalition - Neo-City Diaries.
In the AWA fics, Rise is a student at the AWA Academy.
Appearance[]
Rise has long copper-colored hair tied in two pigtails, brown eyes and pale skin. Her normal outfit consists of an orange shirt with puffy sleeves above a white turtleneck shirt while she is seen wearing an orange top and white pants in summer. Before transferring to Yasogami High and while working at her grandmother's shop, Rise wears a white headscarf, a pink turtleneck shirt and a short navy blue skirt.
Personality[]
Rise is cheerful, outspoken, naughty, cute and is quite boastful about herself, although very sweet deep down. She is referred to as a "dangerous girl" by Chie Satonaka, due to her boldness in flirting with the protagonist, and her teasing of Yosuke Hanamura and Kanji Tatsumi. Rise is quickly annoyed by the smallest things, which ends up with her crying dramatically, and sometimes producing crocodile tears. She's rather childish and possessive; she once pouted and told the protagonist he mustn't call another girl "cute." She has also shown her competitive side on many occasions, and she’s mocked Yukiko Amagi’s insecurity and her cooking.

XP4 Heroes Coalition - Neo-City Diaries[]
In Chapter 13, Rise, alongside the rest of the Inaba Investigation Group, were supposed to have a nice weekend when Dan Gotanda made his presence. After Dan explained to them about the Heroes Coalitions, they all decided to join. Later, the team arrives at the Neo-City and were awed at the sight of the Training Facility. Later Dan left to sort out a problem, they then met Precious Dazzle and befriended him. After Dan returned and told them that they'll be meeting the president of the Heroes Coalitions which they obliged.
In Chapter 33, Rise, alongside Akame Murasame, Fabia Sheen and Leone Lionel, are seen having a conversation with Lelei La Lalena, Rory Mercury, Tuka Luna Marceau and Yao Ha Ducy by the fountain in the courtyard of the Vanguard Academy. Later on, she is present when Danny Antonucci made an announcement that joining a club is now mandatory and is amongst those who went into panic when it was added that those who haven't joined a club by the end of the week will become a member of the lunch committee.

In Chapter 26, Rise, alongside Brook the Soul King, Loki the Lion, Teddie and Vivi Nefertari, are seen running towards the deep and narrow valley between two canyons in a desert that is located somewhere in the island of Elsaragozademontelban while being chased by a giant scorpion.

Abilities[]
Rise is a representation of the Lovers Arcana. Her persona, Himiko, while not much of a fighter, is more focused on Analytical and scanning abilities, pinpointing weaknesses and locating enemies. When it comes to support, she's all over it. She uses a microphone stand as a weapon.
