Pinkamena Diane Pie, also known as Party Girl and Pinkie Pie, is one of the main characters from the My Little Pony: Equestria Girls franchise.
Event planner for Canterlot High and baking enthusiast in her spare time, Pinkie plays drums for the Rainbooms. Her magic lets her infuse foodstuffs with energy to make them explode.

Appearance[]
Pinkie has an average height, she has a slender frame and she has a light-pinkish skin tone, she had a waist-length puffy pink hair and she had light-blue eyes. She wears a short blue jacket over a white shirt with a heart logo, a violet sash-like ribbon around her waist, a pink skirt with balloon designs, and blue boots with pink ribbons.
Personality[]
Pinkie Pie shares many of her pony counterpart's character traits and cartoonish quirks, including having a very cheerful and sociable personality and performing various comedic gags. At one point in the first film, she picks one of the balloon patterns off her skirt and inflates it like an actual balloon.
In the second and third films and tie-in animated shorts, Pinkie displays more cartoonish gags. She has a tendency to skip instead of walk normally, she has a refrigerator stocked with cans of whipped cream, and she tends to pop out of random places such as a locker and air vent. Though she doesn't own a party cannon in the first film, she uses her kick-drums as a party cannon in the second film, and she owns two party cannons by the third film.
Above all else, Pinkie's strongest trait is her love of spreading joy to others. She throws a party for the aloof Crystal Prep students in Friendship Games, and this desire to make others happy drives her to establish a glee club in the My Little Pony Annual 2013.

In Chapter 42, Pinkie, alongside the rest of the Rainbooms, are seen walking down the streets of Neo-City when they came across numerous missing posters of Chicken scattered all over then place, much to their disbelief. They later spotted Edwin "Ed" Horace Williams and Trixie Lulamoon entering a cafe, much to their curiosity.
In Chapter 46, Pinkie, alongside the rest of the Rainbooms, are seen in the courtyard of the Vanguard Academy while hanging out on the school's entrance steps. She is present when Denki Kaminari announced that Ash Ketchum had won the Alolan League and took part of cheering their friend's latest achievement.

Later that day in the music room at CHS, they met up with Rarity Belle & Raya Amanda and everyone agreed to join the competition. Later that day in the gymnasium, they are assisted by Photo Finish in making a music video when Rarity and Rarity left to get some extra material.
In Chapter 2, Pinkie, alongside the rest of the Rainbooms and Spike, met up with Rarity Belle and Raya Amanda inside the Carousel Boutique where they had discussion about the Shadowbolts copying their concepts.
In Chapter 3, Pinkie, alongside the rest of the Rainbooms and Raya Amanda, met up with the Shadowbolts in the gymnasium of the Canterlot High School where they teamed-up to create a music video. Afterwards, everyone are seen in the Canterlot Mall where they celebrate winning the competition when they came across Flash Sentry and Marshmello with the latter shared his idea of Flash and her performing a new song is his. After Flash and Marshmello made their leave, everyone then had a serious discussion about Indigo Zap.
In Chapter 4, Pinkie, alongside the rest of the Rainbooms and Spike, are seen visiting the film studio by Canter Zoom. After the director made his leave, they were met up by Brent Dark, Jaune Arc, Marshmello and Wesley Bryans before separating into groups. Later on, Pinkie, alongside Marshmello and Spike, are seen eating candies elsewhere in the film studio when they witnessed Canter Zoom and Chestnut Magnifico having an awkward argument, and they quickly fled the scene upon realizing that the candies belongs to Chestnut. Later that day, Pinkie is present during a filming in the volcano setting when the set suddenly crumbled and afterwards, everyone learned that some props are gone.
In Chapter 5, Pinkie, alongside the rest of the Rainbooms, Brent Dark, Canter Zoom, Jaune Arc, Juniper Montage, Marshmello, Spike and Wesley Bryans, are gathered in the village setting while talking about the missing props. She then took part of investigating the case when she and the rest of the Rainbooms were mistaken for actors by an idiot staff member and during the production, they spotted a strange individual and proceeds to chase after them until they came to a city setting where they found themselves caught in a net while Rainbow Dash continues to pursue the culprit.
In Chapter 6, Pinkie, alongside the rest of the Rainbooms, Brent Dark, Jaune Arc, Marshmello, Spike and Wesley Bryans, managed to free themselves from the net trap and later met up with Marcus "The Kane" McGee and Rainbow Dash in one part of the studio until the former left. Afterwards, they met up with Canter Zoom, Chestnut Magnifico and Juniper Montage in another part of the studio where they decided to resume their search. Later on in the village setting, everyone are present when Juniper is exposed as the culprit behind the mess and witnessed her getting kicked out of the studio. Later on, she took part in playing a role of an extra in a Daring Do movie until the shooting is ruined by Rainbow Dash's over enthusiasm, much to everyone's annoyance.
In Chapter 7, Pinkie, alongside the rest of the Rainbooms, Brent Dark, Jaune Arc, Marshmello and Wesley Bryans, are featured in a local poster of a Daring Do film in a theater inside the Canterlot Mall and alongside the Rainbooms and the Shadowbolts, she is featured in a music video. She, alongside the rest of the Rainbooms, Eddy Skipper McGee, Duncan Nelson, Jake Long and Rex Salazar, are seen gathered in the food court where they witnessed Flash Sentry demonstrating his power and after that, Sunset Shimmer revealed that Princess Twilight Sparkle wants her to come to Equestria.
In Chapter 8, Pinkie, alongside the rest of the Rainbooms, Duncan Nelson, Eddy Skipper McGee, Jake Long and Rex Salazar, arrives in the theater of the Canterlot Mall where they met up with Juniper Montage, they then found themselves suck into the magical mirror and later found themselves trapped inside a white limbo-like void.
In Chapter 9, Pinkie, alongside the rest of the Rainbooms, Duncan Nelson, Eddy Skipper McGee, Jake Long and Rex Salazar, are still inside the magic mirror when Sunset Shimmer is brought to their presence and later witnessed the void cracking to their horror but were later brought back in the Canterlot Mall after Marcus "The Kane" McGee and Starlight Glimmer managed to convince Juniper Montage to make a change to herself. Afterwards, everyone has forgiven Juniper and shared a hearty laughter.
In the Epilogue, Pinkie, alongside the rest of the Rainbooms, Duncan Nelson, Eddy Skipper McGee, Jake Long, Juniper Montage, Marcus "The Kane McGee, Rex Salazar and Starlight Glimmer, are seen hanging out in the courtyard of the Canterlot High School when Sunset Shimmer received a message from Princess Twilight Sparkle that she allows Starlight to stay for a couple of days while Marcus revealed that Juniper is a Blessed.

Biography[]
In Chapter 2, Pinkie met up with Tenma Daytona Romeoford and the Cul-De-Sac kids outside the 'school' premises and revealed herself as the student representative tasked to guide them. After explaining some things and getting the newcomers registered, Pinkie led them inside the 'school' where she presented to them a large city within, much to their shock and to her amusement.
In Chapter 3, Pinkie proceeds to show Tenma Daytona Romeoford and the Cul-De-Sac kids around the City Saints Academy by Pinkie Pie, much to their awe. Later that day, Pinkie, alongside Tenma and the Cul-De-Sac kids, arrives in a diner called Pop's Moon Palace where they met Fred Flintstone, Honoka Kousaka, Umi Sonoda and Kotori Minami where she witnessed Eddy Skipper McGee flirting with Umi and she responded by slapping Eddy really hard, much to everyone's amusement.
In Chapter 4, Pinkie, alongside Tenma Daytona Romeoford and the Cul-De-Sac kids, decided to have lunch inside Pop's Moon Palace where Pops Drake asked for their orders and as they are eating their respective lunches, Pinkie had a conversation with Tenma about the latter's past and unbeknownst to them, Pops was listening. Afterwards, they left the diner and proceeds the tour, and when the tour ended, Pinkie is seen leading the newcomers to their living quarters when she revealed that the City Saints Academy is getting new students everyday, much to Tenma and the Cul-De-Sac kids' shock and disbelief.
In Chapter 5, Pinkie, alongside Tenma Daytona Romeoford and the Cul-De-Sac kids, arrives at the Corona House where they met up with Shizuka Kasagi. And with her job done, Pinkie said goodbye to everyone and left.

Her magic lets her infuse foodstuffs with energy to make them explode in glitters and confettis. Pinkie has one party cannon built into the floor tom of her drum kit. In the third film, she gets two party cannons. In the fourth, she gains the ability to make sprinkles and sugary treats explode. Pinkie stashes a lot of things in her hair such as a clipboard, an alarm clock, a plate of cookies, her drumsticks, a cake and a pie, and an entire tub of pudding.
Pinkie also has the ability to break the laws of physics, whether intentionally or not.
Trivia[]
- Pinkie is a big eater. The movies and shorts have various scenes of her consuming huge amounts of food. For example, in "Mirror Magic", her tray has five burgers on it.
- Her things, especially her clothes, tend to feature hearts in some shape or form. For example, her usual set of clothes has a pink heart on her shirt, the pajamas she lends Princess Twilight are stamped with hearts, her outfit for the climax of Rainbow Rocks has a large blue heart on the chest, and so on.
- What's her favorite subject in school? Art? Home Economics? Well, according to the Canterlot High Tell-All book, her favorite subject is Chemistry.
- Pinkie has no sense of personal space, often leaning against people or hugging them without warning. Notably: she grabs and pulls Princess Twilight around when they meet, closely examining her; she plays percussion all over Rainbow Dash in "Pinkie on the One"; lifts Twilight from the ground with a hug in Rainbow Rocks; sniffs out Rainbow Dash in "Pinkie Spy"; excitedly clings to Sunset in Legend of Everfree; and invades Sunset Shimmer's space once again in "Mirror Magic", even squishing her cheeks at one point.
