Ms. Fortune, also referred to by her full name, Nadia Fortune, is character from the Skullgirls game.
Nadia Fortune is the last surviving member of the Fishbone Gang, a band of otherwise Dagonian thieves, whose last caper ended in tragedy; in an attempt to steal the Life Gem, a valuable and mystical artifact, from Lorenzo Medici, all were caught by the Mafia and brutally killed or so the mob thought. Nadia managed to swallow the Gem and gained immortality from it (or at least a near-infinite Healing Factor, which amounts to the same thing), which allowed her to survive the mob's vengeance — Dahlia and her goons chopped her into little pieces and dumped her in the river with the bodies of the rest of her gang. She now lurks in the shadows of Little Innsmouth, plotting her own revenge against the Medici Mafia.
In the AWA fics, Nadia is a student at the AWA Academy.
In the XP4 fics, Nadia is currently a member of the Heroes Coalition. She is part of the group Insanity and an honorary member to the Bullet Kingdom (Formerly known as New Age Avengers). She also attends the Vanguard Academy as a student.
Appearance[]
Nadia is tan-skinned, lithe young woman with light-blue eyes and a white hair styled in a bobcut. Her feral features a long dark pointy cat ears, tail and clawed hands and feet, and a prominent canine on her upper lip. She wears a thick blacked collared with stylized cat bell, a light-blue stripe crop top, a gray utility belt, a black fingerless gloves and remnants of her dark pants. She had numerous scars around her body.
Personality[]
Nadia ikes making friends. A wisecracking troublemaker, she loves to drop puns wherever she goes. Underneath the cheeriness is an innovative and serious fighter who uses her head (and the rest of her body) to beat the competition.

Nadia gets along pretty well with the rest of the Insanity group and the Bullet Kingdom.
Abilities []
Befitting her feline traits, Ms. Fortune is an agile fighter with sharp senses and sharper claws. Her true strength, however, is drawn from the Life Gem that she swallowed prior to her "death". The gem gave her nearly-unlimited regenerative abilities, allowing her to recover from numerous injuries that would kill normal beings (such as decapitation and dismemberment). In addition to her regenerative powers, Ms. Fortune also has precise control over her own body parts, an ability that figures heavily into her fighting style. She can extend her muscles and tendons to add force to her blows or give her attacks greater reach, release jets of blood from her legs to propel herself on the ground and in the air, and even detach her limbs completely to strike opponents and set up surprise attacks.

- In the XP4 fics, while she's technically not a villain, Nadia is a thief and is a part of the Insanity Group which consists of reformed villains.
