Mitsuo is a character from The Daily Lives of High School Boys anime and manga.
Mitsuo is the biggest loser in class. The other guys have no problem making fun of him to his face and are generally very vocal about how stupid and annoying they find him. He pretty much exists to be humiliated.
In the AWA fics, Mitsuo, going by the full name of Nobuhiko Mitsuo, is a student at the AWA Academy.
Appearance[]
Mitsuo has a messy reddish-brown hair and dull red eyes. He wears a blue blazer over a white dress shirt and red & blue necktie, dark-blue pants and brown shoes.

In battle, Mitsuo wears a white top, blue denim pants with a yellow-buckled black belt, brown shoes and his hands are wrapped with bandages.
Personality[]
He is a kind-hearted young boy. Despite of being bullied all of the time (including being insulted even when he is around at the moment), he has gentle sides proven when he jumped off to the river to save an animal.
Mitsuo often has bad luck. As an example, he kind-heartedly jumped off to the river, intended to save a floating cat in a box, but failed only to find a stuffed cat inside; he has his precious Gunpla destroyed during Kick the Can arc.

Biography[]
In Chapter 4, Mitsuo, alongside Irino Tadakuni, Yoshitake Tanaka, Hidenori Tabata, Kuroshima Motoharu, Chapatsu Haisha and Megane Kurokami, are seen having lunch inside Pop's Moon Palace with depressed expressions on their faces.
In Chapter 6, Mitsuo is present at the rooftop party of the Corona House.
In Chapter 8, Mitsuo is present in the dining area of the first floor when she took notice of the arrival of Tenma Daytona Romeoford, Eddward "Edd & Double D" Marion Vicente, Edwin "Ed" Horace Hall, Rolf Von Olsson and Shizuka Kasagi in the room. He then witnessed Eric Cartman demanding the identity of the noise maker to which Shizuka declined.
In Chapter 16, Mitsuo, alongside Megane Kurokami, Chapatsu Haisha, Irino Tadakuni, Kuroshima Motoharu, Hidenori Tabata and Yoshitake Tanaka, are seen inside Pop's Moon Palace with depressed expressions on their faces.
In Chapter 21, Mitsuo is present in the cafeteria of the Corona House.
In Chapter 24, Mitsuo, alongside Akira Ishida, Chapatsu Haisha, Hidenori Tabata, Hiroki Yasumoto, Kuroshima Motoharu, Megane Kurokami, Toshiyuki Karasawa and Yoshitake Tanaka, are seen playing a game in open basketball court which ended up in a comical scuffle when Taiga Kagami and Tetsuya Kuroko made their presence, reprimanding them and beckoning them to settle things in the basketball court.
In Chapter 25, Mitsuo, alongside Akira Ishida, Chapatsu Haisha, Hidenori Tabata, Hiroki Yasumoto, Kuroshima Motoharu, Megane Kurokami, Toshiyuki Karasawa and Yoshitake Tanaka, are seen at the courtyard outside the Corona House and are having a conversation when they learned that Irino Tadakuni just gained three female friends, much to their shock and disbelief. Then they saw Azusa Nakano, Mio Akiyama, Ritsu Tainaka, Tsumugi Kotobuki and Yui Hirasawa ran past them and overheard about a live event, so they decided to check it out.
In Chapter 26, Mitsuo, alongside Akira Ishida, Chapatsu Haisha, Hidenori Tabata, Hiroki Yasumoto, Kuroshima Motoharu, Megane Kurokami, Toshiyuki Karasawa and Yoshitake Tanaka, are seen in front of the St. Castle Rock Stadium with a look of disbelief on their faces. After recovering from their shock, they decided to check inside but don't have any tickets, so they dejectedly left instead.

Trivia[]
- Back in the elementary, he attempted to enter a whole kiwi into his mouth, the hairs got stuck to his tongue.
- When Motoharu visited his house, he asked him to turn off the lights and call his phone, intended to show Motoharu the electrical waves flowing through his phone.
- When he was in middle school, Motoharu planned up a prank to exchange his shoes with Habara's. This plan succeeded, but they both graduated without even realizing it.
- Parts of Mitsuo's past was mistaken for Yoshitake's own even by Yoshitake himself.
