Mez is a character from the Akame ga Kill anime and manga.
One of the members of the Demons, a cheerful and easygoing girl who fights Lubbock along Sten when they detecting him in a crowd in Kyoroch.
In the AWA fics, Mez is a student at the AWA Academy.
In the XP4 fics, Mez debuted in the XP4 Heroes Coalition - Mission Chronicles.
Appearance[]
Mez was a short girl with a petite build. Her hair was blonde and styled in pigtails decorated with horseshoes that also served as weights. She had green eyes and her skin was considerably tanned. She wore long leggings and a shirt, which she left open, displaying a bikini/swimsuit top. Like her fellow Rakshasa Demons, she had armored plating on her forearms.
Personality[]
Mez seemed to be very easygoing, even when in combat. She casually seemed impressed by the death of her comrade and disappointed by the seemingly easy death of Lubbock. Her personality doesn't appear to change much even when her own life is in jeopardy, even going so far as to respond to Lubbock's flirting. Mez also did not seem to be afraid of death or killing others, noting that, as assassins, it came with the territory.
XP4 Fanfics[]
Mez is spared from canon fate and she is a member of the Heroes Coalitions as a Solo Hero. She also attends Vanguard Academy as a student.
XP4 Heroes Coalition - Mission Chronicles[]
In Chapter 12, Mez, alongside Guy Cecil and Suzuka Rakshasa, are seen running around in the streets of a city somewhere in the Ultimates States of America when they came across Kouko Kaminaga whom had killed a pair of nuns, and after Kouko explained her situation with them, they offered her membership to the Heroes Coalitions to which she accepted. Later, they met Tsumugu Kinagase offscreen while introducing Kouko to him at the same time and after doing some waiting, Clarity Dresden, Nekomaru Nidai, Nie Li and Yan Fung made their presence and after introducing Kouko to them, everyone got into van and made their way back to Neo-City.
XP4 Heroes Coalition - Neo-City Diaries[]
In Chapter 34, Mez, alongside Guy Cecil and Suzuka Rakshasa, are seen having a conversation inside the lobby area of the Training Camp when Kouko Kaminaga met up with them and expressed their joy when Kouko revealed that she is officially a member of the Heroes Coalitions.
In Chapter 43, Mez is amongst the many people inside the Training Camp whom is listening to Eddward "Double D, Edd" Marion Smith and Minna-Dietlinde Wilcke broadcasting the announcement of the 'Wildcard Rules'.
Abilities[]
She has similar abilities to the other Rakshasa demons. She can freely control her body. She has been shown to be able to do the following:
- Extending her arms;
- Extending her nails;
- Releasing a lot of sweat.
Aside from the ability to control her body, she has also been shown to be really fast. Her speed increased even more when she detached the horseshoes from her hair.
She was also able to sense that Lubbock was suspicious, despite Lubbock being one of the best actors in Night Raid.
Trivia[]
- At some point in the past, Mez trained in the Kouken temple with the other Rakshasa Demons. It was mentioned that together with her companions, they fought and killed five Teigu users.
