Juugo Yama is the main protagonist of the Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizouki anime and light novels.
Juugo is an energetic student in his second year of high school with strong stamina and endurance as well as a fondness for girls in maid outfits. He is devoted to helping Nanana move on, in spite of her constant commotion in his room, as he tries to find interest in her. Juugo joins the school's adventure club on a hunt for the island's Nanana Collection. It is revealed he's secretly the heir of Matsuri, an ancient "noble" thief organization that claims to only steal from the wicked, but was banished to Nanae Island when he refused to take the position due to a difference in ideals. Juugo claims he does not believe in doing things for others, and does not believe he'd give everything to help anyone. Despite refusing to take the position, Juugo is actually quite good at stealing treasures, and managed to outmatch Tensai, Isshin, and even other Matsuri members a few times, although Tensai usually deduces it in the end.
In the AWA fics, Juugo is a student at the AWA Academy and is a part of Class 12. He is also part of the AWA Rookie 20 and is ranked # 20.
In the XP4 fics, Juugo debuted in the XP4 Heroes Coalition - Mission Chronicles.
Appearance[]
Juugo has brown hair and purple-blue eyes. He usually seen wearing his school uniform with a red undershirt, but also wears shorts, a solid undershirt, and sometimes an open short-sleeve button up. When Nanana dislocated his shoulder, he used a cloth sling to help it heal, no cast or brace.
Personality[]
Juugo is a level-headed teenage boy with an obsession with maids. He trains every day to keep up his strength, knows how to fight, and how to fall without hurting himself, due to his previous Affiliation with Matsuri, a masked thieves syndicate. He was exiled to Nanaejima after speaking against his father, though, and often gets into fights with people he doesn't agree with or like.

In Chapter 14, Juugo, alongside the rest of Pact, took part in a mission in eliminating a group of Emotionless in the village of Farfort and afterwards, they were thanked by Donnel's Mother and rest of the villagers for saving them.

History[]
In Chapter 4, Juugo, alongside Rex Salazar and Reisen Udongein Inaba, arrives in a stream located between two forest where they came across Edd the Sockhead, Rolf the Son of Shepherd and Youji Itami, and everyone decided to travel together afterwards.
In Chapter 5, Juugo, alongside Edd the Sockhead, Rolf the Son of Shepherd, Youji Itami, Rex Salazar and Reisen Udongein Inaba, met up with Ed the Lump, Eddy the Scammer, Kevin the Jock, Luz Noceda, Amity Blight, Undine Wells, Heartful Punch, the Goblin Slayer, Musashi the Brave Fencer, Tadakuni, Ryuuko Matoi and Ichigo Momomiya in an area filled with train cars. Afterwards, everyone had a discussion and agreed with Edd's idea of luring people to their location.
In Chapter 6, Juugo, alongside everyone, witnessed Ed the Lump and Rolf the Son of Shepherd finished building a fort, much to their awe and disbelief. After taking shelter inside the fort, Juugo, alongside Kevin the Jock, Rex Salazar and Youji Itami, took down the creatures coming towards their fort, he then witnessed Edd the Sockhead creating a gigantic holographic projection of himself while calling everyone to their fort.
In Chapter 8, Juugo, alongside the rest, are seen gathered inside the fort when Naruto Uzumaki's group, Yuna's group, Yami Sukehiro and Mereoleona Vermillion arrives in the area and got inside the fort. After introducing themselves to each other, they witnessed the arrival of a large mysterious creature and everyone decided to flee by getting inside the multiverse-travelling bus and then escaping through a portal.
In Chapter 9, Juugo, alongside everyone, are seen crammed inside the bus after escaping the dangerous world before proceeding to enter the backdoor of the bus which led them to the rather grand base operation in the Watchers' Realm, much to their awe. After meeting with Konata Izumi, Tsukasa Hiiragi, Kagami Hiiragi and Miyuki Takara, they all decided to get some rest.
In Chapter 10, Juugo is present in a conference-like room inside the main base of the Multiverse Rescuers where Jason the Watcher explained to everyone the details about the next mission in the island of Elsaragozademontelban.
In Chapter 25, Juugo, alongside Ash Ketchum, Gray Fullbuster, Orihime Inoue, Pikachu, Yuna the Bloody Bear and Zoe Orimoto, are seen making their way towards the deep and narrow valley between two canyons in a desert that is located somewhere in the island of Elsaragozademontelban where Aelita Schaeffer, Erza Scarlet and Robin Nico took notice of them while guarding the bus.
In Chapter 26, Juugo, alongside Orihime Inoue and Yuna the Bloody Bear while bringing along Ash Ketchum, Gray Fullbuster, Pikachu and Zoe Orimoto, arrives in the deep and narrow valley between two canyons in a desert that is located somewhere in the island of Elsaragozademontelban where they met up with Aelita Schaeffer, Erza Scarlet and Robin Nico. Afterwards, everyone had a conversation before entering the bus while Aelita, Erza and Robin remained outside.
In Chapter 29, Juugo, alongside Bentham of the Wild, Blaze the Cat, Jinbe and Knuckles the Echidna, are seen taking on a group of Lava Monkeys in one part of the volcanic region somewhere in the island of Elsaragozademontelban.
Abilities[]
Juugo is a capable fighter, he has enough strength, stamina and speed to survive a fight or even death traps.
Juugo also uses the crystal called Eye of Yuguthos. It's ability is shown through looking through it. If what the person telling you is a lie there will be a presence of dark aura around the liar, if not lying there will be nothing around it.
AWA Fanfics[]
Juugo's skills were taken up to eleven. He now uses guns and explosives to fight, and uses a grappling hook to swing himself around. Juugo learned how to use chakra and magic. He also learned six moves of the Rokushiki and also gained the power to use Busoshoku Haki.
