Juniper Montage is a character from the My Little Pony - Equestria Girls franchise.
Canter Zoom's niece and backstage assistant who aspires to star in a movie one day. She'd do anything to get her big break — and this sends her on a dangerous collision course with the girls from Canterlot High School.
In the AWA fics, Juniper is a student at the AWA Academy.

Appearance[]
Juniper has an average height, she has a thin frame and a light yellow skin tone, she had teal hair with arctic blue streaks which is tied in low pigtails, and she had blue-colored eyes.
Juniper usually has purple glasses, and dons a purple jacket over a blue blouse with a white flowery collar, a black office skirt with purple dots, white knee-high socks and purple slip shoes.
Juniper sometimes wears an usher uniform at work.
Personality[]
When first introduced, Juniper is portrayed as very friendly and innocent. Like Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash, she is a huge fan of A. K. Yearling, having met her once and gotten her to sign her copy of the latest Daring Do book. She also appears to be a big movie enthusiast, having worked on the sets for all of her uncle's movies and evidenced by her film reel-shaped hairpins. She shares her movie interest with Twinkleshine.
However, toward the end of Movie Magic and in Mirror Magic, Juniper's true colors come to light. Her desire to be cast as Daring Do and become a famous movie star is so strong that she is willing to sabotage the production of a film. When her dreams are not realized, she lashes out at those responsible, demonstrated when she uses a magic hand mirror to trap Sunset Shimmer with her friends in limbo. Juniper also shows considerable indifference for her job as a theater usher, willfully ignoring her boss, groaning over any tasks given to her and wanting the annoying customers to go away.
In her transformed state, Juniper's views on the world become warped to the point where she perceives screaming people as adoring fans. However, she does express deep remorse at the ends of Movie Magic and Mirror Magic, her actions stemming from a desire to be liked by others.
Juniper's favorite food is Bon Mot peanut butter praline crunch bars, which are also Chestnut Magnifico's favorite snack.

XP4 Heroes Coalition - Magical Movie Night[]
In Chapter 4, Juniper met up with Brent Dark, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle at the village set and decided to show them around. Later that day, Juniper is present during a filming in the volcano setting when the set suddenly crumbled and afterwards, everyone learned that some props are gone.
In Chapter 5, Juniper, alongside the Rainbooms, Brent Dark, Canter Zoom, Jaune Arc, Marshmello, Spike and Wesley Bryans, are gathered in the village setting while talking about the missing props before taking a leave to deal witha another setback.
In Chapter 6, Juniper, alongside Canter Zoom and Chestnut Magnifico, are met up by the Rainbooms, Brent Dark, Jaune Arc, Marshmello, Spike and Wesley Bryans in another part of the studio where they decided to resume their search. Later on in the village setting, Juniper is exposed as the culprit behind the mess by everyone and later found herself kicked out of the studio but not before sending a hateful glare at the Rainbooms and the rest.
In Chapter 7, Juniper is seen bitterly working as an usher in the Canterlot Mall and she is enraged that the Rainbooms and the guys got a part in the Daring Do, she then found a magic mirror at a glasses kiosk and decided to buy it. Later on, she is found behind a counter where she discovered that the magic mirror had a vaccuum-like power, much to her surprise.
In Chapter 8, Juniper is seen inside a theater in the Canterlot Mall when the Rainbooms, Duncan Nelson, Eddy Skipper McGee, Jake Long and Rex Salazar came across her, she then used the magical mirror to make them disappear by the sucking them all inside. Later that day, she is confronted by Sunset Shimmer and uses the magical mirror to make her disappear but unbeknownst to her, Marcus "The Kane" McGee and Starlight Glimmer witnessed that.
In Chapter 9, Juniper is seen admiring herself on the magic mirror and she eventually transformed into a giant humanoid abomination before going around the Canterlot Mall while causing a rampage but thanks to the efforts of Marcus "The Kane" McGee and Starlight Glimmer, she decided to change herself for the better and freed the Rainbooms, Duncan Nelson, Eddy Skipper McGee, Jake Long and Rex Salazar from the magic mirror. Afterwards, everyone has forgiven her and shared a hearty laughter.
In the Epilogue, Juniper, alongside the Rainbooms, Duncan Nelson, Eddy Skipper McGee, Jake Long, Marcus "The Kane McGee, Rex Salazar and Starlight Glimmer, are seen hanging out in the courtyard of the Canterlot High School when Sunset Shimmer received a message from Princess Twilight Sparkle that she allows Starlight to stay for a couple of days while Marcus revealed that she is a Blessed.

Trivia[]
- Juniper is as genuinely excited over anything that has to do with Daring Do as Twilight and Rainbow Dash. But it stops being endearing when Juniper starts throwing a tantrum about her uncle not letting her star in a big-budget Daring Domovie. Even after her façade is exposed and becoming unhinged, Juniper is still quite dorky, as evident by her awkward attempts to use the magic mirror and her huffy temper tantrums, which is still rather cute.
- Juniper's job at the Canterlot Mall Movie Theater is repetitive and degrading. The uniform is even worse, with ridiculously bright colors and goofy film reel accessories.
- Her profile in the official website describes her as "socially awkward" and with "poor social skills". While not immediately apparent in "Movie" and "Mirror Magic", it does show in the way she seems oblivious to how her behavior (even before her magic corruption) affects others.
- In seveerl fanfiction stories, Juniper is often depicted as a relative to Sandalwood.
