Ichiro Ogami is the main protagonist from the Sakura Wars anime and games.
Ichiro is a young, recently-commissioned Imperial Japanese Navy ensign who finds himself in charge of the Imperial Combat Revue's Flower Division. By the time he defeats the Black Demons in 1926, he is promoted to lieutenant and travels for Paris to lead the Paris Combat Revue's own flower division. After returning from Tokyo and defeating Brent Furlong and Ōkubo Nagayasu, Ogami replaces Ikki Yoneda as the commander of the Flower Division.
In the AWA fics, Ichiro debuted in the All Worlds Alliance Missions - CROSSOVERDOSE. He later attends the AWA Academy as student.
In the XP4 fics, Ichiro debuted in the XP4 Heroes Coalition - Neo-City Diaries.
Appearance[]
Ichiro is a young man with a tall stature, he had a slim frame and a fair complexion, he had a black brushed-up spiky hair and he had black-colored eyes. He wears a white uniform jacket with yellow accents and buttons over a blue high-collared vest with yellow linings and buttons and underneath the vest is a blue tight shirt. He wears a white neckerchief-like scarf around his neck and a wide belt wrapped around his midsection, he wears white pants with brown belt-like cuffs and buckles, and wears white leather shoes. He wears light-brown fingerless gloves.
Personality[]
He has an (un)fortunate knack for running into some of his female comrades in varying states of undress. The "accidental" part can be rather... questionable.
Ichiro is a bonafide ladies' man—able to charm his way into the hearts of each of his female teammates.
Ichiro can be hot-blooded at times.
Ichiro wears his uniform well alongside his various acts of heroism, gallantry, and overall reliability as both a leader and a human being.

In Chapter 7, Ichiro, alongside members of the Universal Guardians and Squad of Excellence, is present in the Mission Briefing Room in the Training Facility where Dr. Michael Pating brief them about their mission in the Halidom of Ylisse before departing.
In Chapter 43, Ichiro is amongst the many people inside the Training Camp whom is listening to Eddward "Double D, Edd" Marion Smith and Minna-Dietlinde Wilcke broadcasting the announcement of the 'Wildcard Rules'.
In Chapter 44, Ichiro, alongside the rest of the Squad of Excellence, welcomes Cyrille and Toma Wildchild for becoming an official member of the team.
XP4 Heroes Coalition - Awakening[]
In Chapter 1, Ichiro, alongside members of the Universal Guardians and Squad of Excellence, arrives in a forest somewhere in Ylisse and appears to be lost. They later came across Chrom, Frederick, Lissa and Robin and quickly befriends them. After having conversation about the Emotionless, both sides decided to work together to eliminate the creatures. They decided to camp for the rest of the night.
In Chapter 2, Ichiro, alongside members of the Universal Guardians, the Squad of Excellence and Chrom's group, arrives in Ylisse and met up with Owain. Later, after Chrom decided to have a meeting with Frederick, Geo Stelar and Luna Platz, the rest decided to meet up with the Shepherds at the garrison. Later, Chrom and the others arrived and claims to have an announcement.
In Chapter 3, Ichiro is seen having a conversation with Chrom, Sumia, Sakura Haruno and Sakura Shinguji at a nearby crate in the garrison when Sasuke Uchiha brought Kellam to them.
In Chapter 4, Ichiro, alongside his team, Lissa, Donnel, Ricken, Henry and Miriel, are seen walking around a forest somewhere in Ylisstol when they came across Nowi. Then Emotionless emerges from the dark before taking on and defeating the creatures.
In Chapter 6, Ichiro, alongside his team, Chrom, Sumia, Robin, Owain, Gregor and Olivia met up with Basilio, Flavia, Lon'qu and Cordelia at East Ferox to discuss about the Emotionless when Raimi arrives and told everyone that the fort is being attacked by the Emotionless. Everyone fought the creatures and managed to get rid of them before heading back inside the fort.
In Chapter 7, Ichiro, alongside Sakura Shinguji, Sakura Haruno, Hinata Hyuuga, Frederick, Maribelle, Stahl and Panne having a conversation about the Unification Ceremony at the garrison.
In Chapter 11, Ichiro is at the garrison when they heard a noise, they ran to the corridors to see Ryuuko Matoi and Ricken chasing a strange hooded figure. Everyone went after the figure and led them to a large grassy fields, and reveals itself as a Pokemon known as Hitmonlee. The Pokemon then revealed that he stole an ancient alien artifact called the Ara-Ka Cube inside the castle. Everyone watches in horror as Hitmonlee uses the alien artifact to summon a zombified version of Emmeryn and Phila, much to everyone's disgust. Hitmonlee then summoned a large number of Emotionless, forcing Ichiro and everyone to fight. Ichiro then witnessed Donnel activating his Gift.
In Chapter 12 & Epilogue, Ichiro, alongside everyone, witnessed Donnel activating his Gift turning both Emmeryn and Phila back to life. After defeating the remaining Emotionless, forcing Hitmonlee to flee, life in Ylisstol went back to normal.
XP4 Heroes Coalition - Welcome to Herowood[]
On Chapter 4, Ichiro, alongside Alain Regulus, Ben Tennyson, Rex Salazar and Tatsumi, are seen inside an arcade of The Multiverse's Crossroads in Herowood where they witnessed Bartlomiej Agbayani smashing a crane machine and giving the prizes to Hanayo Koizumi, Maki Nishikino and Rin Hoshizora.
XP4 Heroes Coalition - Date A Live[]
In Chapter 4, Ichiro, alongside Erica Fontaine, Gemini Sunrise, Hsien-Ko and Sakura Shinguji, made their presence inside a dark alley somewhere in Tengu City where they confronted Team Capucho.
In Chapter 6, Ichiro, alongside Erica Fontaine, Gemini Sunrise, Hsien-Ko, Sakura Shinguji and Shun Kazama, are seen inside a cafe somewhere in Tengu City where they had a conversation about Team Capucho and their plans of kidnapping Shidou Itsuka.
Abilities[]
Partnered with Sakura, they both use their respective spiritual swords.
He is paired with Erica from Sakura Wars 3 and he adds some new attacks to the mix using some of his teammates' weapons, including Glycine's halberd and Coquelicot's kitty bombs.
