Takane D. Goodman is a character from the Mahou Sensei Negima manga.
A zealous, by-the-book Mahora High school student who's also a secret dark mage. Also noted for her inability to keep her clothes on, or at least intact.
In the AWA fics, Takane is a student at the AWA Academy.
Appearance[]
Takane is a tall young woman with a long blonde hair and dark-blue eyes, she is wearing a black dress with white collar and blue ribbon, black stockings and brown shoes, and a nurse cap on her head.
Personality[]
Takane is a zealous, by-the-book Mahora High school student who's also a secret dark mage. Also noted for her inability to keep her clothes on, or at least intact. Despite being a talented mage she tends to end up naked and/or embarrassed due to terrible circumstances. She doesn't believe in keeping secrets and especially if that secret pertains to someone else, like the truth about Yuna's mother and she will say what she thinks.
Takane has a strong devotion to justice.
Abilities[]
Takane is an experienced mage, evident when she brought herself to the preliminaries of the martial arts tournament during the Mahora Festival. She also aided Negi in the ariel fight after Chao Lingshen was about to reveal magic top the world.
- Shadow Magic- Her magical affinity is shadows, and she can summon and direct shadow warriors, as well as create elaborate shadow armors. These armors can increase the user's defense capabilities at least threefold, with it reaching up to sevenfold when not wearing any other clothes over them.

- Nocturna Nigredinis - is the most powerful close-combat technique in shadow magic: a physical shadow familiar that surrounds the mage and mimics her own actions, allowing powerful melee attacks – at the same time, the familiar acts as an automated, absolute defense system. Once the familiar is summoned, the mage will no longer require any further protection.
- Lanceae Umbrae - is an attack spell which gives physical form to shadow ‘spears’ allowing them to penetrate magic shields.
- Lorica Umbrae - is a spell that creates ‘armour’ appearing to be clothes but increases defensive capabilities threefold, or up to seven times if applied directly onto the skin.
