Renge Miyauchi is one of the main characters of the Non Non Biyori anime and manga.
Renge, a 6-7 year-old first grader, is the youngest of the cast. She is adorably eccentric, can play the recorder and is talented at drawing.
In the AWA fics, Renge is a student at the AWA Academy and is part of Class 14.
Appearance[]
Renge has brown eyes and violet hair. She wears her hair into pigtails with yellow ribbons. The yellow ribbons were given by Dagashiya when she was five.
She wears different clothes on the daily basis.
Personality[]
Renge is a very precocious child with a curious nature. She has a unique naming sense and also likes creating her own songs. She is often shown playing her recorder at home and outside. She gets excellent grades in school and has demonstrated excellent artistic skills. She even picked up multiplication solely based on Konomi's suggestion to use addition as a base for multiplying. She is shown to be friendly and affectionate and loves being around people.

- In the AWA fics, Renge is related to Chizuru Tachibana, Shizuku Hazuki, Kanade Tachibana, Ichigo Hoshimiya, Ringo Hoshimiya, Raichi Hoshimiya, and Michelle Tachibana.
- Renge is named after the pink lotus that grows in the hills surrounding the village, although she didn't know it herself.
- She adds a superfluous "-non" at the end of sentences.
