Gemini Sunrise is one of the main characters from the Sakura Wars games.
Gemini is a very cheerful cowgirl who tends to be a bit clumsy. Her master's last words bring her from Texas to New York with her fellow horse, Larry.
In the AWA fics, Gemini debuted in the All Worlds Alliance Missions - CROSSOVERDOSE. She later attends the AWA Academy as student.
In the XP4 fics, Gemini debuted in the XP4 Heroes Coalition - Neo-City Diaries.
Appearance[]
Gemini is a young woman with an average height, she had a slender frame and a fair complexion, she had a long curly red hair tied in a low ponytail by yellow strings and she had blue-colored eyes. She wears an orange short-cropped jacket with brown shoulder patches, tattered ends and folded cuffs tied by strings over a yellow shirt, she wears an orange pencil skirt with a brown buckled belt and a brown bolster belt wrapped around her waist, she wears a pair of orange gloves with a black band, orange boots with black jagged lining-designs and a brown Stetson hanging on her back.
Personality[]
A cheerful but clumsy cowgirl who traveled from Texas to New York on her master's dying wish. She begins the game as the theater's cleaning girl who has dreams of one day performing and becoming a part of the Hoshigumi and becoming a proper lady in the process. She has a very bright and friendly personality though she is prone to daydreaming. Gemini attempts to fit in with the people of New York but has a hard time due to her cowgirl personality. Because of this, she gets easily depressed whenever the other citizens see her as nothing more as a country hick, even considering moving back to Texas. Being trained as a samurai, she has a great love and respect for the Japanese culture and would love to travel to Japan herself someday.
She has a split-personality named Geminine who is aggressive and focused on avenging her master but honors the samurai code. Geminine was supposed to be a living person, however Gemini was the only one born and is described as having two hearts in one body. Geminine sometimes dominated the body when she was training with her master, though Gemini herself never knew of her existence until she got to New York where Geminine would dominate the body more often (which is mostly due to Gemini's depression). She has a white horse named Rally (Larry in the English-language version) that she keeps in her apartment but will occasionally ride him around New York. Gemini wields both a katana and a Colt Single Action Army revolver.

Gemini is a member of the Heroes Coalitions and is part of the Squad of Excellence as an honorary member. She also attends the Vanguard Academy as a student.
XP4 Heroes Coalition - Neo-City Diaries[]
In Chapter 7, Gemini, alongside members of the Universal Guardians and Squad of Excellence, is present in the Mission Briefing Room in the Training Facility where Dr. Michael Pating brief them about their mission in the Halidom of Ylisse before departing.
XP4 Heroes Coalition - Awakening[]
In Chapter 1, Gemini, alongside members of the Universal Guardians and Squad of Excellence, arrives in a forest somewhere in Ylisse and appears to be lost. They later came across Chrom, Frederick, Lissa and Robin and quickly befriends them. After having conversation about the Emotionless, both sides decided to work together to eliminate the creatures. They decided to camp for the rest of the night.
In Chapter 2, Gemini, alongside members of the Universal Guardians, the Squad of Excellence and Chrom's group, arrives in Ylisse and met up with Owain. Later, after Chrom decided to have a meeting with Frederick, Geo Stelar and Luna Platz, the rest decided to meet up with the Shepherds at the garrison. Later, Chrom and the others arrived and claims to have an announcement.
In Chapter 4, Gemini, alongside her team, Lissa, Donnel, Ricken, Henry and Miriel, are seen walking around a forest somewhere in Ylisstol when they came across Nowi. Then Emotionless emerges from the dark before taking on and defeating the creatures.
In Chapter 6, Gemini, alongside her team, Chrom, Sumia, Robin, Owain, Gregor and Olivia met up with Basilio, Flavia, Lon'qu and Cordelia at East Ferox to discuss about the Emotionless when Raimi arrives and told everyone that the fort is being attacked by the Emotionless. Everyone fought the creatures and managed to get rid of them before heading back inside the fort.
In Chapter 7, Gemini, alongside Soul Eater Evans, Maka Albarn, Hsien-Ko, Virion, Vaike, Henry and Sully, are seen laughing at Natsu Dragneel scrubbing Dan Kusou's underwears at the garrison.
In Chapter 11, Gemini is at the garrison when they heard a noise, they ran to the corridors to see Ryuuko Matoi and Ricken chasing a strange hooded figure. Everyone went after the figure and led them to a large grassy fields, and reveals itself as a Pokemon known as Hitmonlee. The Pokemon then revealed that he stole an ancient alien artifact called the Ara-Ka Cube inside the castle. Everyone watches in horror as Hitmonlee uses the alien artifact to summon a zombified version of Emmeryn and Phila, much to everyone's disgust. Hitmonlee then summoned a large number of Emotionless, forcing Gemini and everyone to fight. Gemini then witnessed Donnel activating his Gift.
In Chapter 12 & Epilogue, Gemini, alongside everyone, witnessed Donnel activating his Gift turning both Emmeryn and Phila back to life. After defeating the remaining Emotionless, forcing Hitmonlee to flee, life in Ylisstol went back to normal.
Abilities[]
Gemini wields a katana which she has named Red Sun as well as her revolver. In battle, she uses her katana, spiritual powers and her revolver. Her partner is Erica Fontaine, a member from the Paris Combat Revue who shares many similar traits with her and Sakura Shinguji.
When partnered with Sakura Shinguji and her Mifune Ryu Kempo pairs well with Sakura's Haja Kensei techniques.
