Daniel "Danny" Fenton, also known as Danny Phantom, is the main protagonist from the Danny Phantom series.

Upon obtaining his ghost powers through a Freak Lab Accident, 14-year old Danny uses it to combat the various ghosts that inhabit his hometown. He starts off shy, naive, Book Dumb, and emotional, constantly trying to find a place in the world, whether it be gaining popularity or through his ghost powers. By the end of the series, Danny gains confidence, courage, and matures considerably and finds his path as a hero.

In the AWA fics, Danny is a student at the AWA Academy and is part of Class 9.

In the XP4 fics, Danny debuted in the XP4 Heroes Coalition - Neo-City Diaries.

Appearance[]

He had a black hair and icy blue eyes. He wears a white t-shirt, blue pants and red & white sneakers. In his Ghost Form, he had white hair and neon green eyes. He wears a black jumpsuit with white gloves, belt, collar and boots with a big D & P in the middle.

Personality[]

At first, Danny was an average teenager, awkward and nervous but friendly. Like most teenagers, he had crushes on girls, desires to be popular, a dislike of bullies, and embarrassment about his parents. But unlike most teenagers he had ghostly superpowers. He struggled to cope with them and was afraid of anyone discovering his secret, fearing it would make him go from "geek" to "freak," and longed to be normal just like everyone else. But after he fought ghosts for the first time, he realized he could use his powers for good. This newfound sense of purpose changed Danny into a heroic, brave young man.

In the present, when he's not worrying about ghosts, Danny is kind, easy-going, and helpful. He likes using his ghost powers for good, but, being a teenage boy, is not always above using them to get revenge on bullies or sneak into the girls' locker room. His ghost hunting often cuts into his school work time, but he does work hard when he puts his mind on the task at hand. He loves making puns and exchanging witty banter during his fights, and while there's moments when he under-appreciates his friends, he is thankful to have them.

Danny is a member of the Heroes Coalitions and is the part of the Bullet Kingdom(formerly known as New Age Avengers). He also attends Vanguard Academy as a student.

XP4 Heroes Coalition - Neo-City Diaries[]

In Chapter 6, Danny, alongside Jake Long, Randy Cunningham and Rex Salazar, are new to the Training Camp with Anna Maymorie showing them around. They then came across Regan Bladeworks and introduced themselves before moving on with the tour.

In Chapter 12, Danny is seen doing a push-up at the Training Camp.

In Chapter 17, Danny, alongside Randy Cunningham and Jake Long, are seen at the training area when Yoshika Miyafuji arrives and introduced Marcus "The Kane" McGee, Eddy Skipper McGee, Eddward Marion "Double D, Edd" Smith, Edwin Horace "Ed" Williams and Rolf Yrmi to them, and quickly became good friends with the new recruits.

In Chapter 19, Danny, alongside the others, are joined by the new recruits Eddy Skipper McGee, Marcus "The Kane" McGee, Eddward Marion "Double D, Edd" Smith, Edwin Horace "Ed" Williams and Rolf Yrmi in the day's training. During the training session with the Scout, Danny is seen climbing a cargo net. Later, during the training session with Major Richard Stronghold at a heavy traffic, Danny witnessed Double D getting hit by a vehicle twice. Later that night and after a whole day of training, Danny took part of the little get-together at the training facility's cafeteria.

In Chapter 28, Danny is seen inside the Training Facility of Neo-City and later took part of a rope climbing exercise which ended in chaos.

In Chapter 29, Danny appears in a flashback taking part of a kickball game at the back of the Vanguard Academy.

In Chapter 31, Danny is present inside the auditorium of the Training Camp where he is announced to be a member of the New Age Avengers.

In Chapter 40, Danny, alongside Jake Long, Randy Cunningham and Rex Salazar, are mentioned to have gone exploring an abandoned asylum by Duncan Nelson.

In Chapter 44, Danny, alongside the rest of the New Age Avengers, welcomes Duncan Nelson and Taro Yamada for becoming an official member of the team. They also learned from Mario Martinez about the departure of Eddward Marion "Double D, Edd" Smith from the team alongside the reveal of an upcoming new member.

In Chapter 46, Danny, alongside the rest of the New Age Avenger, are mentioned as a whole throughout the last part of the narrative.

In Chapter 47, Danny, alongside the rest of the New Age Avenger, are mentioned as a whole during a conversation by Andres "Singko" Alvarez, Daisuke Niwa, Ikkaku Madarame and Yugi Mutou.

In Chapter 50, Danny is seen hanging around in the training area of the Training Camp when he witnessed Raya Amanda and Sylvia van Hossen challenging Eddy Skipper McGee and Marcus "The Kane" McGee for another game of H.A.V.O.C. Marathon which the boys accepted.

In Chapter 52, Danny, alongside the rest of the New Age Avengers, are mentioned as a whole group in a conversation of Geraldo Axel, Needles Kane and Vaas Montenegro, and later with Ms. Fortune.

XP4 Heroes Coalition - Mission Chronicles[]

In Chapter 5, Danny, alongside everyone, arrives in the training area of the Training Camp in Neo-City only to find it empty when The Spy arrives and told them that there are no training for the day and advised them to take a time off. Later that day, the gang had a good time around Neo-City before hanging out at the park when they noticed the sky darkening.

In Chapter 6, Danny, alongside everyone, are still in the middle of their relaxation when the Emotionless attacked Neo-City forcing them to sprung into action and were later aided by the Training Camp's coaches and trainers.

In Chapter 7, Danny took part of fighting the Emotionless at Neo-City and later witnessed the arrival of an Emotionless-Dragon. He, alongside his fellow trainees, decided to take on the Emotionless-Dragon with Marcus "The Kane" McGee destroying it, much to their awe. He is later present at the park, taking a breather after a day of fighting, when Major Richard Stronghold arrives and complimented their heroic contributions.

XP4 Heroes Coalition - Strike Witches[]

In Chapter 1, Danny's voice is heard shouting for Rolf Yrmi to stop, whom is chasing after Marcus "The Kane" McGee, Eddy Skipper McGee and Jake Long.

In Chapter 7, Danny, alongside the remaining members of the New Age Avengers made their presence in a town somewher nearby the main base operation of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing where they helped taking out the Emotionless.

In Chapter 8, Danny, alongside everyone, witnessed the arrival of the Emotionless-Neuroi and after recovering from the shock, he, alongside the remaining members of the New Age Avengers, decided to stay behind in town to fight.

In Chapter 9, Danny, alongside everyone, witnessed Malvin Rasputin rejecting Eddy Skipper McGee with the latter falling into the water upon running off. He is present when Eddward "Double D, Edd" Marion Smith, Minna-Dietlinde Wilcke, Mio Sakamoto and Perrine H. Clostermann made their presence and announced the successful alliance between the Heroes Coalitions & the 501st Joint Fighter Wing, and later witnessed Marcus "The Kane" McGee saving Eddy from drowning.

XP4 Heroes Coalition - Welcome to Herowood[]

In Chapter 6, Danny is present in the catering area of the RoosterTeeth Hotel in Herowood.

XP4 Heroes Coalition - Infinite Stratos[]

In Chapter 1, Danny, alongside the rest of the New Age Avengers and Ichika Orimura, are seen inside a briefing room somewhere in the Training Camp where they have a discussion about their latest mission. Later, everyone arrives in Ichika's world when they noticed the trouble going on in the IS Academy and they immediately springs into action.

In Chapter 2, Danny, alongside the rest of the New Age Avengers, arrives in the arena grounds of the IS Academy to aid Cecilia Alcott, Houki Shinonono, Laura Bodewing and Lingyin Huang in fighting the IS Golems.

In Chapter 3, Danny, alongside the rest of the New Age Avengers and the IS Students, are still fighting the IS Golems in the arena grounds of the IS Academy when the White Marauder(Ichika Orimura) made his presence to aid them, and after defeating their foes, everyone are seen gathered at one section when Chifuyu Orimura and Maya Yamada made their presence. Later, he is present in the communications room where everyone are having a discussion about the current situation. Later that night, Danny, alongside the rest of the New Age Avengers and Ichika, are seen inside a room somewhere in the dorms.

In Chapter 4, Danny is present in the cafeteria of the IS Academy where the members of the New Age Avengers and the IS Students are getting along well. Later, alongside everyone, Danny arrives in the communications area and came across Chifuyu Orimura, Maya Yamada, Major Richard Stronghold and Tabane Shinonono having a conversation, and later realized that Tabane left and took Edwin Ed" Horace Williams with her.

In Chapter 5, Danny, alongside the rest of the New Age Avengers and the IS Students, are seen in the cargo bay of the IS Academy and took part in a group photo by Kaoruko Mayuzumi, and later witnessed the arrivals of Dr. Michael Pating and Ichigo Kurosaki.

In Chapter 6, Danny, alongside Eddy Skipper McGee, are seen inside a room in the dorms of the IS Academy where they look in disbelief at Marcus "The Kane" McGee whom is laid down on a bed with an icepack on his head.

In Chapter 7, Danny, alongside Eddy Skipper McGee and Marcus "The Kane" McGee, are seen patrolling outside the training arena of the IS Academy and they didn't noticed a strange figure entering the place.

In Chapter 9, Danny took part in facing the IS Golems and the Emotionless in the arena of the IS Academy.

In Chapter 10, Danny took part in defeating Autumn, the Emotionless and the IS Droids in the arena of the IS Academy, and later witnessed Autumn disappearing into a portal, much to their shock and confusion.

In Chapter 11, Danny took part in a party somewhere in the IS Academy where it was announced that the Heroes Coalitions & the IS Academy had form an alliance, much to everyone's joy and delight.

XP4 Heroes Coalition - Haunting Grounds[]

In Chapter 1, Danny, alongside the rest of the New Age Avengers, are seen inside the briefing room of the Training Camp where Dr. Caesar Apoy, Dr. Michael Pating, Louie Lovenhope and Major Richard Stronghold informed them of their latest mission of rescuing Gingka Hagane in the Junkyard Planet alongside being introduced to Xyrielle "XY Girl" Yona as the newest member of their team. Later, upon arriving in the Junkyard Planet, everyone realized that they're stranded, so they proceed to search for shelter.

In Chapter 2, Danny, alongside the rest of the New Age Avengers, are seen searching for a shelter in the Junkyard Planet when they came across a starship and dubbed it the 'Central Command'. Afterwards, everyone decided to mess around when they came across Tsunayoshi Sawada getting chased by an army of robots and decided to help him, and after disposing of their enemies, everyone introduced themselves to each other before heading back to the Central Command.

In Chapter 3, Danny, alongside the rest of the New Age Avengers and Tsunayoshi Sawada, made their presence before Ben Tennyson, Blonko Rook, Indigo Zap, Juniper Lee and Little Joey somewhere in the Junkyard Planet and started tossing trash at them but after clearing some misunderstanding, everyone are gathered inside the Central Command and after Ben fixed the starship, they made their leave and began to travel through the air.

In Chapter 4, Danny, alongside the rest of the New Age Avengers, Ben Tennyson, Blonko Rook, Indigo Zap, Juniper Lee, Little Joey and Tsunayoshi Sawada, are traversing the skies of the Junkyard Planet while inside the Central Command. Everyone then drops down to the ground and fought an army of robots, and after defeating their enemies, they finally found Gingka Hagane, Jimmy Neutron and SpongeBob SquarePants. Afterwards, everyone got back inside the Central Command and continued their journey.

In Chapter 5, Danny, alongside the rest of the New Age Avengers, Ben Tennyson, Blonko Rook, Gingka Hagane, Indigo Zap, Jimmy Neutron, Juniper Lee, Little Joey, SpongeBob SquarePants and Tsunayoshi Sawada, are traversing the skies of the Junkyard Planet while inside the Central Command and arrives at the Cardboard Tower. With the exception of Jimmy, everyone got down from the starship and fought an army of robots while Marcus "The Kane" McGee made his way inside the tower.

In the Epilogue, Danny, alongside the rest of the New Age Avengers, Ben Tennyson, Blonko Rook, Gingka Hagane, Indigo Zap, Jimmy Neutron, Juniper Lee, Little Joey, SpongeBob SquarePants and Tsunayoshi Sawada, are victorious against the Summoner, Lucas Lee and the army of robots. Afterwards, everyone are seen waiting for assistance to arrive in the Junkyard Planet.

XP4 Heroes Coalition - Vividred Operation[]

In Chapter 1, Danny, alongside the rest of the New Age Avengers and Gingka Hagane, are seen in the beach somewhere in the Izu Ooshima Island where Akane Isshiki, Aoi Futaba, Himawari Shinomiya, Kenjirou Isshiki, Mizuha Amagi, Rei Kuroki and Wakaba Saegusa met up with them.

In Chapter 2, Danny, alongside the rest of the New Age Avengers, Akane Isshiki, Aoi Futaba, Gingka Hagane, Himawari Shinomiya, Kenjirou Isshiki, Mizuha Amagi, Rei Kuroki and Wakaba Saegusa, are seen gathered inside the NDF Headquarters where they had a conversation with Yuuri Shijou about the current situation and later witnessed Mizuha rejecting Eddy Skipper McGee. Later that night in the Isshiki residence, everyone are joined by Mashiro Isshiki and Momo Isshiki for dinner and had a rather wacky conversation.

In Chapter 3, Danny, alongside Gingka Hagane and Rex Salazar, are seen patrolling around a small lighthouse somewhere in the Izu Ooshima Island and later witnessed Rolf Yrmi fighting a shark. Later on, he, alongside everyone, are present in another beach while getting ready for their battle against the Alones and the Emotionless.

In Chapter 5, Danny took part in fighting the Alone and Karasu in the skies of Izu Ooshima Island, and they managed to destroy the Alone and sent Karasu packing. Later that night, he took part in a celebration party in the Isshiki Residence for their victory over Karasu and other stuffs.

In the Epilogue, Danny, alongside the rest of the New Age Avengers, Akane Isshiki, Aoi Futaba, Gingka Hagane, Himawari Shinomiya, Rei Kuroki and Wakaba Saegusa, arrives in the Training Camp in Neo-City.

The Multiverse Adventures While Riding On A Bus[]

History[]

In Chapter 11, Danny, alongside Aelita Schaeffer, Daisuke "Davis" Motomiya, Dan Kusou, and Jake Long, are seen fishing at a beach somewhere in the island of Elsaragozademontelban when Eddy the Scammer, Ed the Lump, Musashi the Brave Fencer, Undine Wells, Heartful Punch and Youji Itami arrives. After explaining things to them, Danny and his group decided to join them.

In Chapter 15, Danny, alongside Aelita Schaeffer, Daisuke "Davis" Motomiya, Dan Kusou, Jake Long, Kagami Hiiragi, Miyuki Takara, Tsukasa Hiiragi and Yutaka Kobayakawa, are seen having a conversation in the lounge area somewhere the main base operation of the Multiverse Rescuers when Gingka Hagane and Konata Izumi joined them and had a conversation about their training.

In Chapter 28, Danny, alongside Erza Scarlet, Fate Testarossa Harlaown, Goblin Slayer and Nanoha Takamachi, are seen taking on a group of Lava Monkeys in one part of the volcanic region somewhere in the island of Elsaragozademontelban.

Abilities[]

Ghost Powers[]

Danny possesses a variety of superhuman powers and abilities due to his unique physiology.

Going Ghost - Danny can transform between human and ghost at will. This manifests as white rings extending from Danny's waist, then sweeping across his body. His battle cry, "I'm going ghost!" or a variant thereof, often accompanies his transformation. Once transformed, he can use all his ghost powers. He can switch back to human form at will, and can still access some of his powers like weak ghost rays and intangibility in human form.
Intangibility - Danny can turn his body intangible to pass through walls or other solid objects. This power was the hardest for Danny to control at first, often activating at embarrassing times such as causing his pants to fall down while he was asking a girl out.
Invisibility - Danny can make his body invisible to both humans and ghosts.
Flight - Gravity doesn't affect Danny's ghost body, so he can fly through air and space at considerable speeds and heights, and walk on vertical surfaces. While flying, his legs often become a ghost tail. His top speed was measured to be 112 mph in an early episode, and he has almost certainly gotten faster since then.
Ecto-Energy Powers
- Ghost Ray - Danny can fire green blasts of ecto-energy from his hands or fingertips. These blasts often explode on contact and are powerful enough to melt steel.
  - Repulsion Field: Danny can send out a pulse of energy in all directions from his body to repel large groups of attackers.
- Energy Strike - Danny can channel ecto-energy through his fists to enhance the strength of his physical attacks.
- Ecto-Energy Constructions - Danny can create constructs made out of solid ecto-energy in a variety of forms, including concentrated ecto-energy balls, waves, and explosive discs and rings.
  - Ghost Shield - Danny can generate shields made of solid ecto-energy that can nullify or even reflect attacks from other ghosts. Like his ghost rays, Danny's shields are green in color.
- Power Augmentation - Danny can use his ecto-energy to increase his body's physical strength.
- Ghost Stinger - Danny can send ecto-energy as electricity through an electric current, negating his enemies' electric attacks and sending them back at the attacker.
- Ghost Light - Danny can project light from his hand using ecto-energy.
- Ghostly Wail - Danny can generate an extremely powerful sonic blast of pure ecto-energy that can destroy buildings and cause severe damage to both humans and ghosts. The ghostly wail is Danny's most powerful ability, but it drains his energy extremely quickly, often forcing him to revert to his powerless human form after just one use. While he is capable of defeating almost any foe with this power, he only uses it as a last resort.
- Telekinesis - Danny can surround objects with his ecto-energy to make them move from a distance. Inexplicably, Danny has only been seen using this power once, to give a rake to the Box Ghost, and it is never seen nor mentioned outside of its one appearance.
- Energy Absorption - Danny can absorb an opponent's energy and link to their powers for a limited time, finally mastering it in "Torrent of Terror."
Overshadowing - Danny can possess the mind and body of a person, ghost, or animal, allowing him to completely control his or her actions. While overshadowing, Danny can still use his powers of flight, intangibility, invisibility, and ghost rays.
Duplication - Danny can create duplicates of himself that all have his ghost powers and can fight alongside him. After seeing Vlad use this power during their first encounter, Danny spends much of the series trying to learn to use it himself, finally mastering it in "Torrent of Terror."
Cryokinesis - Danny can fire blasts of icy energy from his hands or eyes that can freeze enemies on contact, radiate cold energy from his body, and create objects from ice out of thin air. When using this power, his eyes turn icy blue instead of their usual glowing green. Danny can combine cryokinesis with his other powers for enhanced effects, such as firing an icy explosive blast or generating an ice shield to block fire attacks. Danny learned this power in "Urban Jungle."
- Ghost Sense - When Danny is near other ghosts, a cold blue mist comes out from his mouth and a chill goes down his spine. In "Urban Jungle," it was revealed that Danny's ghost sense was a manifestation of his then-untapped potential to use cryokinesis.
Pyrokinesis - Danny can generate and throw balls of ectoplasmic fire.
Spectral Body Manipulation - Danny can bend, twist, split, and otherwise contort his ghost body beyond the limits of normal human physiology.
Superhuman Strength - Gravity doesn't affect Danny's ghost body, so he can lift heavy objects with ease. In ghost form, he is strong enough to rip through reinforced titanium and can easily lift and throw hordes of enemy ghosts.
Superhuman Durability - While human, Danny can withstand many hits and blows that would cause injury to any normal teenager. In his ghost form, his body is incredibly resistant to damage, and he has demonstrated a high threshold for pain.
Superhuman Stamina - While human, Danny has the same level of stamina as a normal teenager, but in ghost form, he can exert himself at peak capacity for hours before fatigue begins to impair him. In "Reality Trip," he was able to keep the Fenton Jet invisible for an entire night.
Superhuman Agility - In his ghost form, Danny's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels beyond those of a normal human being. He can effectively dodge attacks, swing from things easily, and perform acrobatic feats such as backflips.
Superhuman Reflexes - In ghost form, Danny has dramatically enhanced reflexes, being able to dodge attacks with ease. In "Beauty Marked," he was able to catch an arrow in midair with his bare hands.
Healing Factor: Danny is capable of healing at much greater speeds than that of an ordinary human, likely due to his body's ecto-biological structure. He has proven capable of healing from slashes and puncture wounds within a short amount of time, and even his suit appears to regenerate sometimes. At one instance, he completely regenerated his body after Freakshow reduced him to a puddle of goo in "Reality Trip."

Quick Learning Ability - Danny is able to quickly learn new things, even often being able to copy many of the powers his enemies use against him without any training. Examples:
- The first time Danny used a ghost shield was only hours after seeing Vlad use one, without any training on Danny's part.
- In "Urban Jungle," Danny learned to use his ice powers in just one day, with training from Frostbite.
- In "One of a Kind," Danny quickly learned Sampson's body language.
- In "Teacher of the Year," Danny got an "A-" on his literature test with just one night of study.
Paranormal Immunity - As a half-ghost, Danny has higher or total resistance to many types of ghost powers that affect humans, such as Ember's music and Spectra's ghost illness.
Experienced Pilot - Danny is a considerably skilled pilot, having much experience with the Specter Speederas well as with spaceship simulator video games. In "Reality Trip," he was able to save a NASA shuttle from crash-landing due to his "training" with spaceship simulators.
Skilled Tactician - Danny is an excellent strategist, despite his relatively young age. In "Pirate Radio," he demonstrated the ability to formulate relatively complex plans of actions to infiltrate Youngblood's pirate ship, with all his schoolmates, to save their parents from Ember and Youngblood. He is also very good at improvisation, as he often manages to think of a plan that fits with the changing needs of a situation.
Experienced Combatant - Although he has no formal training in hand-to-hand combat, Danny's powers enable him to execute punches and kicks with superhuman force against his opponents. His career as a superhero and ghost hunter has given him plenty of combat experience.
Swordsmanship - Danny demonstrates some ability with a sword when fighting Vlad in "Infinite Realms."
Fenton Weaponry Expertise - Danny can operate his parents' ghost-hunting technology with great expertise, at times even better than his parents.

Trivia[]

Danny is the first character from Danny Phantom to be introduced in the AWA fics.

Danny has some similarities to both Superman and Spider-Man. His powers like flight and super strength, and the poses he makes while flying, are similar to Superman, and him being a teenage boy who likes to make jokes and wisecracks during battle is similar to Spider-Man.
The only historical quote Danny knows is, "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself," from Franklin D. Roosevelt.
In the XP4 fics, Danny shared a room with Jake Long and Randy Cunningham. After the renovations, he still had the same roommates only for Rex Salazar to join them.
